Q. I'm trying to the learn piano on my own (with the help of dear internet) and i got really messed up with the chords of the piano...-.-". For example, i noticed that on some music sheets, the name of a chord (A, F#M7, D..) is placed on top of each staff/bar. What does that mean? Plese someone help mehhhhhhhhh :'C...................
A. Chords are basically three notes in a key played together. They are played, for the most part, in the bass-line to harmonize with the melody. The chords are called the accompaniment and should be played softer that the melody.
An example of chords: The chords in C are the Tonic Chord (the notes C, E, and G played together) and the Dominant Seventh Chord or G7(the notes B F and G).
Hope I helped! If you have anymore questions feel free to ask me.

Q. I'm a bass/guitarist I don't know piano chords, so don't give me a tab with all the letter chords on it. If there's a video you think would work, or if you think you could find away to tell me understandable, I would be thankful.
A. if your gonna play piano, you need to know how to read the staff. I don't mean to sound nasty, but you need to know...

How to play this chord on the piano?
Q. A song I want to play on the piano has the chord Bm/D. I'm pretty sure it's a guitar chord but I think it can be played on the piano, right? Can anybody tell me the notes and the order they go in? Thanks!
A. Bm/D is simply B-D-F# with an added bass D note.
