Should I learn piano?
Q. ive been playing guitar for about 1 year and the main reason i want to learn the piano is so i can train my musical ear.. is it difficult to learn the piano self-taught???
A. Yes!!
I started piano when I was 5. It will train your musical ear a lot. It will also use a lot of the chords that you use in gutair. I think it is important to have a teacher just for guidance. But depending on your level of musical ability you might be able to train yourself. In that case by a book in series. I recommend Alfreds . Good luck

Q. is it true that teaching yourself piano would be somewhat easy
if so is there an electronic piano that will help me do that

A. my whole family plays piano classically European trained and i play too i wouldn't suggest electric piano but if its all you have do it start off with scales and perfect them then move into chords :) etc but thats if you actually want to really play not play the pop stuff like demi lovato and katy perry those are 3 chords and done and then u really shouldn't play if you really want to play learn your scales and learn to read music and no it is not easy i find it easier with help
