Original Question

in music what does for instance F7 mean ?
Q. what does it mean when you have a small 7 next to the name of the chord (for piano) ??? And what does it mean with the small zero ...
how can i work them out ????

A. F7 means an F major chord with the 7th note of the scale added, in other words F, A, C, Eb
The zero means you sharpen the 5th of the scale, eg - F, A, C#

Original Question

Can somebody please figure out the chords to Daniel Johnston's "Desperate Man Blues?"?
Q. This is for playing the song on piano.

A. Okay, here's the best I can do without anything but a recording. I think it's basically right, except I'm not sure about the G7 chords in the bridge (3rd line). The accompaniment is too quiet on the recording to enable me to hear the chords, but G7 will work.

Upper case letters are major chords, lower case are minor chords. Where it says "repeat", you repeat the first line, but finish with second ending. Contact me if you have any questions.

F | F7 | Bb | Eb7 | F D7 | g7 C7 |(1st ending) F D7 | g7 C7 |
repeat (second ending) F | g7 C7 F |
F7 | F7 | Bbmaj7 | Bbmaj7 | G7 | G7 | g7 | g C7 |
F | F7 | Bb | Eb7 | F D7 | g7 C7 | F D7 | g7 C7 |
