A. C2 is not a proper chord name, the reason is because it isn't clear what it's supposed to be.
It's either Csus2, which has the notes C D and G, or C add 9 which has the notes C E G and D. It's likely C add 9... lots of those praise songs use that sound lot (in fact, they overuse it, it's pretty cliche)

A. The low E on a guitar is known as E2 so it is 2 octaves below middle C and the high E string is known as E4 which is just 2 whole steps up from middle C. If you have a microphone you can tune your guitar with your computer's sound card. This webpage has guitar tuners you can use:
