What is a base clef chord that goes with treble clef key, C#(piano)?

Q. Trying to rearrange a song.

A. Rearranging a song usually does not mean changing a chord. There are three different major chords that could contain the C# note, then there are minor chords, diminished chords, and others.

Original Question

what key would Dropped C on Guitar be for Piano?
Q. im writing a song in Dropped C on guitar and i was gonna include a paino intro, but im not sure what Key it would be in. would it just be the normal key of C?

A. Like Soulmate says, you're confusing keys with tuning. A C note on a guitar is a C note on piano - a C chord is a C chord, etc.

When you have tuned a guitar down to drop C , then you've basically tuned everything down one whole note, the low E down two.

In other words, of you play, say a D chord shape on this tuning, it will be one whole note - two steps lower - in C. An A chord shape will be G and so on and so forth.

I'm afraid you will only confuse yourself if you don't get at least some rudimentary understanding of theory and terminology.

Original Question

piano chord question?
Q. on the piano can i play 2 chords at the same time ? or do i play one chord and a finger chord? im new

A. It all depends on the context

If you were to be in the key of C major and play CEG in left hand and Bb D F in the right hand the right hand chord would sound as part of the C chord and turn it in a C11 chord.

However you can also create polytonality like in many Stravinsky works in which the music is literally in two different keys at the same time. To get the effect of two distinct chords you need to use voicing, accent, dynamics and timbre to keep the two chords distinct to the ear.
