Base chords for Black Dog by Led Zeppelin?

Q. What are the base chords for Black Dog by Led Zeppelin?
I am 12 and I play the piano in my school band. My friends and I are playing Black Dog, and I need the accompaniment, background chords on the piano for Black Dog. I can't find it on the internet to save my life What are the base notes/chords?

A. Basically, you're going to be working around A7 and E7 the whole time, except during the bridge and guitar-solo-coda sections (the "Hey baby/Pretty baby" figure). These start on A with some emphasis on F# in the bass/left-hand parts you might play. (Listen to the track for timing, but maybe use a left-hand part like: A-F#--A--F#-G, with the F# and G being eighth-notes.) After three measures of this, you will have a measure that emphasizes a G for two counts, and then a D for two, before going back to the steady A figure.

So, in short, the basic chords you'll need are A7, E7, A, G, D.

My suggestion would be to play around with them, however. My opinion is that this song will not be served well with a sort of "bed of chords" approach. Throw in a lot of piano licks, if you can, really emphasizing "blue" notes. Listen to the guitar part of the original for ideas. Those un-resolving sevenths almost demand something more: that's why the song is all "lick" oriented, with few full on triads until you get into the bridge/coda, away from those pesky sevenths.

Best of luck!
