Q. I went to h& r block and filed taxes on feb 1st. The irs accepted my return on feb 6th. When should i be receiving my refund? I'm supposed to be having it direct deposited into my bank account.
A. Forever and a day it seems like!!! I did mine at H&R Block on 1/12 (They put it on hold till the 30th so they said) I Started checking the WMR site on 1/31 and nothing showed up so I finally called H&R Block on the 2nd to see if their was an issue. I was told there was no issue on their end just to wait the 21 days... So I checked one or two days later(2/3-2/4 not sure) and it finally said processing and its been there ever since. While others that filed later are getting their refunds after a lot of us that filed early in the year and still haven't received our refund because it got help up in some back log. I logged on to H&R Block last night and it said that the IRS didn't get my return till 2/5. So in reality its only been 5days. Im not very happy that I filed early and paid the amount I did and people that just filed a few days ago are already receiving their money. Just doest seem very fair to me. From everything I can see we should be receiving ours around the 18th if you were excepted on or around 2/5... some got DD dates of 2/28 so who knows at this point. The Government is gonna do what its gonna do, they have proven that already! Im also not sure I will use H&R Block again either! Not Very Trustworthy! Good luck Hope you get yours soon!
Why is it so difficult for me to pronounce the Spanish "r" in primo, but not for others like tres?
Q. I can pronounce the spanish R correctly for a lot of words, but if you stick a P in front of it, I am baffled.
Any tips on why Primo, and other certain consonants, are so hard?
A. The difference between your mouth forming a "p" sound and the Spanish "r" sound is considerably greater than shifting from a "t" to an "r". It's sort of like the difference between making a basket from half-court, and making one from the free-throw line. Because your tongue doesn't have as far to go between "t" and "r," the shift is easier and therefore you accomplish it more effectively.
How can I arrange the letters R and L in 64 different ways using 6 at a time?
Q. There are 64 ways to arrange the letters R and L, or any two letters, in 6 letter combinations like:
LLLLLL
LRLRLR
RLLRRL
etc..
I need six more.
Please help!
A. ok this is the pattern:
first 32 ... has L as first letter
second 32 has R
on second letter:
first 16 has L
second 16 has R
third 16 has L
fourth 16 has R
on third letter:
first 8 has L
second 8 has R
third 8 has L
fourth 8 has R
fifth 8 has L
sixth 8 has R
seventh 8 has L
eighth 8 has R
and thus the pattern
so for each sequence of the next letter ... it just takes half the number of the prior set of letters to change ...
until ultimately on the 6th position ... you alternate between the letters .
then you complete your combination .
