How do i use chords in piano roll/Fl Studio 9 XXL?

Q. Why doesnt my chords register in piano roll in Fl Studio 9. Just upgraded from Fl Studio 8 xxl, but when playing on the MIDI contoller as chords they register in piano roll as single notes. Is there someting that i have to adjust in piano roll?
