Is Guitar Hero ever going to come out with a jazz video game?

Q. I was thinking that they should come out with a "Jazz Guitar Hero" game, but I think the jazz would be too technical for everybody to play. They would probably have to sell a different guitar with more buttons since jazz uses all the chords. I don't know, I love jazz so I think it would be a cool idea. I would definitely buy it; maybe we should start a petition or something.

A. I think it's reasonable to watch for more fusion-y type things to pop up, but jazz is really dominated by brass, horns, and piano... unless they're doing guitar-centric arrangements of stuff, you're not going to see Jazz Hero soon.

Of course, they could easily make a wind controller (they're fairly common as MIDI input devices), but it would be a risky investment as jazz doesn't have much of an audience any more (particularly amongst those who play video games)

I'd love to see some Allan Holdsworth or Charlie Hunter stuff though... Harmonix studio isn't too far from my house, and I know a couple guys there. I'll ask them if they're ever considered it.

Original Question

Best way to learn to play the guitar and piano?
Q. I want to learn how to play both instruments and im wondering what the best way to tackle them would be. Like both at once or one at a time. Also what is the best way to learn to play guitar? Like what chords and strumming patterns should i learn first. Thanks

A. this is just a suggestion, u could do like eric johnson and shawn lane did, and practice piano more than u practice guitar, but apply some knowledge from piano into your guitar playing, such as chord voicings and other fancy whatnot. if u do this u will have a unique guitar style.
also, to learn some chords and strumming patterns, learn some songs that are mainly made up of chords or arpeggios, such as the house of the rising sun, or crash into me

Original Question

Why is my ability to create music on the piano dwindling?
Q. I'm 15 and have taught myself how to play the piano. I've played in public and at coffee houses before. I got focused on other things and stopped playing for about two weeks almost a month and a half ago and now, the feeling that I used to get, and my ability to compose seems to have gone away. it feels hollow. Like my creative five is but a flicker now. Will it be gone forever? How can I bring it back? I loved it. please give me a real answer. thanks.

A. Would you like some assurance? Sure, words are cheap. Your fire will relight. Your inspiration will return. Your greatest work is yet to be written. Go for it. Kindle the sparks. Feed the flames. Let your art burn bright.

Now, would you like the truth? Nobody knows. These things come and go. There is no accounting for when or whether the creative muse visits upon you, sooner, later, or never. Sorry.

However, maybe you will be comforted in knowing the same uncertainty has confounded others. One of the most beloved of all Victorian verses deals with the subject. Please let me share it with you:

Seated one day at the Organ,
I was weary and ill at ease,
And my fingers wandered idly
Over the noisy keys.

I do not know what I was playing,
Or what I was dreaming then ;
But I struck one chord of music,
Like the sound of a great Amen.

It flooded the crimson twilight,
Like the close of an Angel's Psalm,
And it lay on my fevered spirit
With a touch of infinite calm.

It quieted pain and sorrow,
Like love overcoming strife ;
It seemed the harmonious echo
From our discordant life.

It linked all perplexéd meanings
Into one perfect peace,
And trembled away into silence
As if it were loath to cease.

I have sought, but I seek it vainly,
That one lost chord divine,
Which came from the soul of the Organ,
And entered into mine.

It may be that Death's bright angel
Will speak in that chord again,
It may be that only in Heaven
I shall hear that grand Amen.
