What kind of sheet music do you buy for a guitar player?

Q. I am looking to buy a few songbooks for someone who plays the guitar. She gave me a list of the titles she wants, but I am confused as to which ones to buy her. There is a P/V/C one, which I assumed stood for Piano/Vocal/Chords. Are the "chords" for guitar? Or is there a different kind that I should buy specifically for guitar? Please help!

A. Chords are nice but if there's something with guitar tabs, that would be specifically for guitar.
