Q. the key "E"
wont play any sounds!
wjy?
its not a piano
its keyboard
A. there may be a problem with the hammer hitting the string for that particular key. can you open the pianos cover to see the hammers inside? if you can, see if there is something wrong with the hammer. Each key has a hammer inside the piano that strikes a metal chord that makes a sound. if you cant see why it isn't playing, try calling a piano tuner who can help fix it, or ask someone you know who knows about pianos. to help. good luck! its not uncommon for used pianos to have occasional problems.
If I learn the piano will it help me with the guitar?
Q. So i've wanted to play the piano and the electric guitar for sooooooo long. I own both a fender and a gibson, although i've never had the skill to teach myself. My parents want to put me in lessons and i'm so down ALTHOUGH i wanna play the piano too ahha. I listen to both classical and all variations of rock so i know i'll be interested in the music i play. So i was wondering if i take piano lessons will it be easier for me to teach myself the electric guitar? and vice versa?? Also I'm not to concerned about time but out of curiosity how long did it take you to get decently good at both?
A. Believe it or not yes. If you can learn what triads are on the piano, you'll be able to figure out the basic chords for the guitar as well. As someone else said, a piano really helps you learn the scales because you can practically visualize the scale if you know your notes well.
When taking piano make sure to learn the notes, what the different scales are, what triads and octave chords are and you'll be good. If you can understand the theory of the scales, chords and such then it will help you with learning how to play the guitar. It wont help you physically play it but you'll now know how to play certain chords and such.
Where can I find an online piano that can play chords?
Q. I need help finding an online keyboard that I can use until my one at home gets fixed. I found some, but some had only one octave, and all of them wouldn't play more than one note at a time. This is urgent because I need to finish something. I have tried the javascript one already. Help!
I realize that this might be impossible.
So please help.
Really, please.
I shold stop now.
oh, and it needs to be free.
A. Check this small Piano software.. It has more then one octave :) and can play chords. its a 30 days shareware.. I am sure after 30 days you wont need it :) if still then buy it :)
