Q. Okay so I wrote I song, and I started with my acoustic guitar first with capo on 3rd fret. But I want to play the same exact chords on piano... and the chords on 3rd fret would sound different then without. If you get what I mean? It's hard and confusing what I'm saying, I hope someone understands ahaha but anyways please help! These are the guitar chords I used with the capo on 3rd fret that I'd want changed into piano chords:
- Am
- C
- Em
- G
- Dm
- E
A. Don't mean to sound rude, but you really need some basic theory. I'm afraid you'll waste an unbelievably amount of time if you don't figure out basic stuff like this.
I take it that the chords you're mentioning here are the chord shapes, right? If that's the case, then the same chords on the third fret will be: Am -> Cm; C -> Eb; Em -> Gm; G -> Bb; Dm -> Fm; E -> G
If you're uncertain about the notes in each chord, then just Google the chords - a chord is the same (have the same notes) on any instrument.
Does anyone know how to play piano chords on both hands?
Q. I just wanted to know the piano chords for:
F
F augmented
B flat
C
C7
A7
Dm
Gm
G
Thanks....... this would really help me a lot
A. Check out http://www.list-of-chords.com/ -- it has diagrams for all these piano chords.
Which Piano Chords Does This Song Use?
Q. I really need to know!

I actually wanted to know what the chords were of that actual key in the video...sorry if it wasnt clear
A. I think they're
G |G |Dm |C |
At about 2:36 they change to
C |C |G |D |
(the first time he plays the C he plays A in the left hand -- I think it's a mistake)
At about 3:15 he plays a C chord . . . then back to the first progression (G |G |Dm |C |). He ends on Gsus2-to-G.
