How do you play F6 chord on the piano when the melody is G... Which is the ninth...?

Q. I don't know how to play this chord in my sheet music. It says F6 but the melody is the 9th which is G. I thought maybe the F6 is actually F13 but then wouldn't the 13th have to be the melody??

A. F6 is F A C D, and the melody includes an implied added 9th. Go ahead and play F6 as written.

Piano players! Need some help with these piano chords?
Q. Which keys to I press for these? For example: Gm7 is G A# D and G

b5
Ddim
F6

Thank you :3 oh and please use the # and not that other symbol. It's the only thing I learned about the black keys.

A. For Gm7, you need to add the F note.
b5 means the 5th note of the scale is played flat.
Ddim is D, F, and G#.
F6 adds the 6th note of the scale, which for F would be D.
