What is this chords name (piano)?

Q. I'm only 16 trying to teach myself how to play the piano out of this book called Alfreds Teach yourself to play piano. Its pg 33 the melody Largo (from "THE NEW WORLD"). I came across this cord and its really awkward i dont really know how to place my hand properly. Its for the left hand and you play C, E, and G# at the same time. What is the name for this chord so i can look up a video on how to play it comfortably? Or if you have any tips yourself id really appreciate it =) thank you !

A. It sounds like an augmented C major chord to me, but I could be wrong. I would play with my pinky finger on C, middle finger on E, and pointer finger on G#... Hope this helps!
Best wishes to your music endeavors! :)
