Q. Usually when I try to find gospel bass tabs or chords, I'm sent to sites that only have piano chords. Someone said that I could get the chords for the bass from the piano chords.
A. Typically the bass plays the same chords that the piano is playing, as both are concert C instruments. So an A chord on the piano is an A chord on the bass. Of course this is assuming you have the chords written above each measure. If this is the case, have the bassist improvise a line based on the chords. It's easy. If the chords are not written, you'll have to figure them out from the key of the piece and the melody written.
What are the most important piano chords?
Q. What are the most important piano chords to learn on piano of course and also if you know of any important Guitar chords that I should learn on guitar that will be great thanks and I am good at guitar (been playing for about 8 years) I just want to learn some more chords you know on piano and guitar.
A. piano is the most difficult and most expansive instrument, you cannot short cut it if you really want to learn, starting w/ scales and chords (all of them) and theory.
How to play piano chords with both hands?
Q. I bought a book that has 360 piano chords but most of them only show with your right hand. So how do you play both your right and left hand at the same time for a chord. I am trying to learn when i look at you by miley cyrus but with one hand it doesn't sound right.
A. A C major chord has the notes C - E - G right?
Well... ANY combination of those notes is still a C major chord. You could play two C's and a G in your left hand and two E's and a G in your right. You could play C - E - G in the left and another C - E - G in the right... it doesn't matter. It's still the same chord.
Same goes for every other chord.
