Q. Hey I'm just messing around with some chords, but I'm stuck on my "bridge" of my song.
Here are my chords so far (I believe I'm the key of C [or G])
Chorus :
C, E, Am, G6
Bridge:
C, C7no5, Fmaj7/C, and then... I don't know what.
Any help would be great! And 10 points obviously for the best sounding one!
A. Try this for the bridge.
C, C7, Fmaj7/C, Dmin7/C, Gmin/Bb, C/G,Dmin/A, G7/B and then back to C (you're in c btw.)
Maybe not the most interesting. But it does work. Try this one out:
Am, E/G#, C/G, D/F#, Dmin/F, G7/F, then back to C. It's cool because of the descending bass notes.
I want information to improve my chords while playing piano/Synth?
Q. I know how to write melody for any songs, but sometimes i have problem getting the chords and particularly I dont know when to use Minor chords, Diminished, Aug, C7, C9. I dont know the difference.
A. Here is the chords for a major scale and it's relative minor (Cmaj/Amin)
Cmaj7,Dm7,Em7,Fmaj7,G7,Am7,Bm7b5
This is a good place to start. Good luck
Good chords to use ?? PLEASE HELP:)?
Q. What are some good chords to use with these words for a chorus (guitar & piano)
help is very much appreciated x
thankyou:D
There's the singer up there with his hand on the mic
And the crowd's down there getting totally psyched
The band wants the kids to dream
But tonight the kids just wanna scream
Along to all their favourite lines
They sang out loud so many times
The teenage girls with their low cut tops
The teenage boys with their emo crops
Music's something you can't fight
So sing along tonight, tonight
A. It's a little tricky doing this when I don't know if you have verses or what key it's in but, assuming you only have a chorus and can transpose what I come up with to an appropriate key for the singer, here goes ... (key of C)
Gm9..........Fmaj7
There's the singer up there with his hand on the mic
Dm9......Em7
And the crowd's down there getting totally psyched
......Dm7
The band wants the kids to dream
......Cmaj7............................. Dm7 Am7
But tonight the kids just wanna scre-eam
..Fmaj7
Along to all their favorite lines
.......Em7
They sang out loud so many times
......Dm7
The teenage girls with their low cut tops
......Dm6 G7..Dm7 Em7.......Fmaj7
The teen-age boys with their emo crops
Dm9.....Em7
Music's something you can't fight
.....Dm7.........Cmaj7
So sing along tonight, tonight
It may sound a little jazzy but, with the right beat, guitar and voice effects it's a really catchy chorus that will get the whole crowd singing. Good Luck with it! - Those minor 9th chords are killer!
