Q. Most of the songs I've learned until now have pretty much nothing but chords or repetitive patterns on the left hand. I'd like to find some that have the left hand being more active so that I can improve on having my hands play independently.
Nothing too easy or too hard, please
A. Apocalypse Please - Muse (Chords and Broken Chords)
Bliss - Muse (Mainly Arpeggios)
Don't Stop Me Now - Queen (Just an awesome song)
Want to learn piano, any suggestions for a keyboard?
Q. I know how to play guitar, but want to play the piano (For stuff like queen and some pink floyd stuff). I am thirteen, but I take care of my instruments, any suggestions for a beginner keyboard?
A. the best bet is to go and try out different instruments to see which you like but i think the Yamaha DGX-640 is a good digital piano/keyboard for a lower price. However, there is a differnence between keyboards and digital pianos such as the Yamaha. Go to a store and try a few, even if you only know a few chords, try playing and see what you like. keyboards are much cheaper than digital piano keyboards but not as good once you become more advanced (although by then you may want a proper piano).
Do you know a website that is better then TabNabber for piano tabs?
Q. I kinda want to learn some Queen, GNR, MCR, etc. songs on the piano.
A. Google! I play guitar and I use google for guitar chords, 99% of the time it works. I also know there are some places you can get really good ones that will even change the key of the song for you, but those cost money, so you'd need to be willing to give a credit card number.
